What’s going on people?  It’s been awhile since I posted anything here, but believe me when I say I’ve been hard at work on honing my skills and trying to get better to push GOOD MUSIC the right way.  The mixer above is something I will be getting very soon to help me carry this out.  It’s the RANE SIXTY-TWO, just announced today along with the SIXTY-ONE and SIXTY-TWO Z.  And yes, it’s not all about the equipment, but having the skill to use it correctly.

DJ Eskei83, when crazy with this showcase of what is possible with SERATO and ABLETON, the potential for live sets is incredible, a talented DJ can give a crowd a unique experience each and every time.  DON’T APPROACH THE DJ BOOTH, just let the DJ do his/her job and you do your, ENJOY!

This has been buzzing around the DJ forums for a few months, I finally decided to write about it.  It seems pretty good and handy, but seems to work only with MACS, so PC guys are out of luck.  The official description is below:

“MiDi-to is a wireless DJ MiDi controller designed for Serato Scratch Live™. It is the first iPad MiDi controller designed for Serato that does not need any additional software to work. MiDi-to takes advantage of the new Core MIDI framework available with iOS 4.2 which minimizes setup and latency.  MiDi-to is designed by DJs for DJs with ease of use and ergonomics as priorities. It is a performance tool that empowers Serato users to control Cue points, FXs, Loops and track selection directly on the iPad. We tried to create a layout that is uncluttered and functional.”
